The Angola National Police are again accused of having fired shots against peaceful people as they were gathering in and it happens in less than 10 days, which eventually resulted in the death of two “innocent” young men, one of whom is the General Secretary of the National Teachers Union of Angola (Simprof) at the Talatona Municipality.
As described by one of the brothers, contacted by the Correio da Kianda, it all happened on Monday night 25th, around 9 pm, when three alleged police officers, in uniform, who were accompanied by motorcycles without the Police logo arrived in the Dangereux neighborhood but exactly on the part-arm street, where they found a group of young people in conversation and opened fire on them, without probable justification, having been shot two young men, Lazarino Domingos dos Santos and Álvaro Estevão, one of them confirmed as the Secretary General of Simprof
As reported and corroborated by Correio da Kianda one of the brothers of the victims, the three police officers fired several shots simultaneously, in a place where there was a huge population.
The brother says, after experiencing the shots one of the victims tried to escape to their home, but unfortunately, he was not able to make it and got shot with a head shot.
ADCDH.Org. confirmed that Correio da Kianda tried to contact Nestor Goubel-Actual Police Spokesperson in Luanda an attempt to obtain clarification from the Luanda Provincial Command but they were not successful.
